I have presented work and served on panels at the Library of Congress, the National Jobs with Justice, the U.S. Social Forum, and universities in the U.S. and Mexico. I have been a rank and file member of the Texas State Employees Union CWA 6186 with testimony in opposition to state attacks on freedom of speech; diversity, equity and inclusion and other union issues.
My presentations have covered a range of subjects including use of film for social justice and organizing, representations of working class people and of women, and workshops on documentary filmmaking, editing, and advocacy for independent media.
For more information and to arrange workshops or speaking engagements, please e-mail Anne Lewis.
