I have taught organized classes at the University of Texas at Austin, Moody College of Communications, RTF for 24 years. I have also taught workshops at the University of Maine, Antioch College, the University of Indiana, virtually in Pakistan, and in grassroots and community settings.
Organized classes include editing at all levels including the UT-Austin MFA program, social activist media, and documentary.
My teaching statement concludes: “We have more than enough people in the field that can push buttons and imitate stylistic forms without much content. I hope that in my own practice of the ancient art of teaching, I inspire creative and critical thought, hard work and commitment, and the production of beautiful meaningful films.” Teaching Statement
